Happy Friday!!!! We’re getting ready to wrap up the day here, but I wanted to share some photos with you all. Progress on the house marches forth, all the walls are standing, the roof is done, and we’re down to interior work and the siding for the structure.
While the construction team was knocking out another 5 star day, a group of us made 2 visits: 1 to the boys school, and 1 to the NKT clinic with Dr. Sanvee. Global Strategies has a strong partnership with Dr. Sanvee, and this clinic was just remodeled. The facility was beautiful, in the midst of an extremely impoverished area. Christine was able to come to the site visit with us, and was excited to connect another recipient of our peanut butter product.
Enjoy the photos and we’ll keep you updated soon!

The driving instructor was picking someone up when we were leaving. I asked him if he ever fears for his life (driving here is insane). He said, "All the time".

The filing system at the NKT clinic. The man working there said he could find anything. I believe him. Don't think I could though.

This woman had a masectomy on Thursday and was at the clinic because she was so grateful for the care she received and she wanted to volunteer.

Some children outside of the NKT clinic, a remote clinic of Catholic Hospital which was recently remodeled.
One final note, Kent left this afternoon to return home. Due to some work obligations he had planned to return early. We are all really sad to see him go. Kent is an amazing guy, he really helped us plan and muddle through communication (and miscommunication) and we’re bummed we’ll be doing these last few days without him.
We are all missing family and friends a great deal, know that we continue to think and pray for you all, and can’t wait to see you again next week!

You’re all in the home stretch now…. We keep praying for you and all the last minute projects and visits to go smoothly. Blessings to all of you! Lisa
Pictures are worth 1000 words, but we love your words too….
It must be a great feeling to have the project up and going after so many hurtles you had to overcome. The pictures are a big help for those of us trying to live the experience with you. Can’t wait to see Chris’ video… This mission is an example of Paul’s promise that neither government officials nor duty-free problems nor heat nor termite mountains nor poverty can keep you from the love of God when you are doing His work (or something like that, but the same idea). May you continue in safety and success until the completion of your work in Liberia. With love and prayers, Pat
Amazing work, I can’t say enough. My heart is fuller knowing there are good people doing great things in places that need it. The pictures are unreal, we miss you Sara Jane and eagerly await a story session when you get back! Brandon
Wow! It sounds like a fantistic trip and that you are all doing and seeing so much! I am so proud of you for getting the peanut butter house up, working with the boys, visiting the surrounding agencies, and showing your love to all. My prayers are that this peanut butter house will stay in operation long after you are gone and bring work, blessings, nutrition, health, and love to many in the future. Stay safe, Sally
Can I just say it would not occur to me to volunteer at my doctor’s office, though I certainly receive wonderful care there? What an amazing woman – I am so touched by how the people you’ve met demonstrate their gratitude and are so willing to offer thanks for what they have. Inspired again! And I miss you Sarah Jane – see, right back to selfishness for me.
Kent is home safe and sound and full of stories! What great mission for all of you! He wants to let you know he has a phone card in his pocket that he meant to leave for you. The number on it is 1956937735936 and it has NOT been used, so use it up!! We’re off to church and will say prayers for these last few days! Blessings to all – Lisa and Kent
